One of y favorite names for a female character is Lisette. For a male character I like James.
I would like to see an Elizabeth! It’s a good, solid name from any time period, feminine yet strong…. And it’s a family name in my family, and its my middle name

Suggest Evangeline for a female name. Mythological echoes, celebrated in song, poetry, and story. Evan’s good for a guy.
I think Arielle would be a good name for a female character.
My suggestion is “Alouette” — I like the musicality of it.
